On behalf of all the parishioners, staff, teachers, and priests of St. Edward parish and school, I welcome you to our web page and parish. We are located in the city of Newark, California, in the Diocese of Oakland. We are a multicultural parish near Silicon Valley in the southern East Bay.
We strive to be a welcoming and growing community of disciples of the Gospel. In these challenging times, our mission has not changed. We labor to make Christ visible both in our prayer life and our witness within our families and community. Our parish school hosts grades TK through 8th and we are always accepting new applications from families. Holy Matrimony Sagrado Matrimonio The Diocese requires six months preparation prior to marriage. Please contact a priest to schedule an appointment.
